FAST TRACK- SIGNALPERSON & RIGGER 1

Service Description

Certified Signal and Rigger I.  Our Fast Track combo class gives you an edge by brushing up with most current safety guidelines set forth by NCCCO.  This is an extensive 3 day class.  The NCCCO Signalperson certification requires the candidate to demonstrate proficiency in giving both hand signals and voice commands. This course also prepares the candidate to be able to properly understand crane dynamics and crane operations per OSHA 29 CFR 1926.1428.  A Certified Rigger Level I can perform simple, repetitive rigging tasks when the load weight, center of gravity, the rigging, and rigging configuration are provided or known by the rigger through experience or on-the-job training prior to the rigging activities. Specifically, after completing our course Level I Riggers will be able to demonstrate and have knowledge of how to: Inspect rigging before use Identify and attach rigging with basic knowledge of hitch configurations, capacities, and basic knots Recognize associated hazards Signal operations Use various types of rigging equipment and basic hitches and their applications Ask about scheduling options for Paper/pencil tests or Computer Based Testing (CBT).
